The SOUSY (SOUnding SYstem) research group maintains a
stationary VHF Doppler radar.
The radar is located in the Harz mountains and transmites at a frequency
of 53.5 MHz. In addition, the group has maintained a second completely
mobile VHF Doppler radar. (also 53.5
MHz).
