Accommodation and Registration

Registration and accommodation was closed Friday, 2 December 2011.

Registration

Registration to our meeting was free of charge through a generous grant from the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation, covering also the costs for the local accommodation in Bad Honnef during the meeting. Lunch, coffee breaks and dinners were included in the meeting.

Accommodation

The accomodation was handled through the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef. The costs were covered by the Hereaus Foundation.

Some (limited) accommodation is available directly at the venue, which offers single and double rooms. Especially young scientists (PhDs and young PostDocs) are asked to share a room, if possible. In this case, you can provide the name of another person you want to share a room with. Participants who cannot be accommodated in the Physikzentrum will stay in hotels close by (some 500 meters walking distance). After registration closes we will let you know where you stay.

Please note that the Heraeus Foundation can only cover the costs of accommodation during the meeting (arrival Tue, 31 Jan; departure Fri, 3 Feb or Sat, 4 Feb, depending on your travel details). If you plan to stay longer you will have to cover the additional expenses by yourself.
