Active Region of 17.Nov.96 - Spectral Window

The lines were observed in first order, dispersion is 0.045 Å per pixel. Wavelength is shown as commanded, not calibrated. Marked are (from left to right):

• N IV at 765.14 Å (transition region, 140 000 K)
• Cont. at 767 Å (chromosphere, 10 000 K)
• Ne VIII at 770.4 Å (corona, 630 000 K)
• Cont. at 785 Å (chromosphere, 10 000 K)
• S V at 786.48 Å (transition region, 170 000 K)
• O IV at 787.7 Å (transition region, 170 000 K)

To calculate line intensities, the neighboring average continuum was subtracted. To avoid side effects from other lines, relatively narrow windows were considered around the selected lines (20 spectral pixels, corresponding to 0.9 Å).
