SUMER scan studies of 01./02.Mar.99

While SOHO was 120° rolled, a number of studies were performed to collect information about velocities in a coronal hole at the solar south limb and in a quiet region at disk center.

See some preliminary results from selected lines by clicking on the thumbnail pictures. Please note that the QS and CH studies were taken in the same field of view, resp., but at different times. The direction of the solar rotation is from the upper right to the lower left corner of the images.
