I am trying to use the program deadtime_corr.pro so that I can then use Local_gain_corr.pro to correct for saturation. I am working from the fits files. deadtime_corr requires that I input a variable called xdl_input. It seems that I can get this value (array?) from the header of the .rst versions of the data file (as I read in the cookbook). Is it also possible to get it out of the fits files somehow? Also, can someone tell me what should I do with the conversion factors listed in the program header?
