Subject: SUMER-SOFT: SUMER Planning Tool Update

Hi,

I have modified SUMER Planning Tool to cope with the recent changes in
SUMER database. As I pointed out in my previous message, one of the
SUMER database tables was altered and SUMER simulation tool was modified
to record the default pointing values used in simulation. From now on,
whenever a new study (with at least one pointing sequence) is loaded
into the planning tool, the default pointing values will be those used
in simulation, instead of (0.0, 0.0). If the planner changes the
pointing when he/she schedules an observation plan (the details plan),
he/she will be prompted by a message for confirmation of the pointing
change.

Please be advised that pointing values used in simulation for studies
created/registered in the database before December 4, 1996 were not
recorded and will default to (0.0, 0.0). You may therefore get false
alarm when you run those studies with non-zero pointings.

Cheers,

Liyun
