I am looking at some SUMER active region data in the range 1430-1450 A. During the observations there was a flare. At the time of the flare a particular faint line near 1443.1 A becomes much brighter. I have the before (red) and during (black) flare spectra on http://orpheus.nascom.nasa.gov/~kucera/spectra.gif I assume this must be a hot line, but I can't find any very likely candidates in the line lists I've consulted. Is anyone out there familiar with this part of the spectrum? Regards, Terry
