Subject: SUMER-SOFT: SUMER function CON_WIDTH_FUNCT_2

Subject: SUMER Line Width Programme 'CON_WIDTH_FUNCT_2.PRO' in SolarSoft


Dear colleagues,

while applying the above line width correction programme repeatedly
in second order, I realized that the input parameter FWHM_OUT was 
changed after the first application. This could easily be corrected by
an internal renaming of this parameter. The correction has been implemented
today (30 May 2001). Since the change was a multiplication by a factor of two,
there is little danger that the error would not have been noticed had it 
occurred before. The function obviously had not been used under these 
conditions. 

The function has not been changed in any other way and its application
is the same as before.
