Maximum likelihood estimation
Below is a software package to analyze gapped time series and determine maximum likelihood estimates of solar-like oscillations.
The method is described in the paper
"Fourier analysis of gapped time series: Improved estimates of solar and stellar oscillation parameters"
by T. Stahn and L. Gizon, Solar Phys. (2008).
It is highly recommended to read this paper first before using the software.

The code is written in IDL. The software package includes a test example calculation (also discussed in the above paper). For instructions on how to run the code, read the README file which is included in the .tar file.
