SUMER study: Reference spectrum above an active region
- date, time: 03.Feb.96, 19:58 - 20:05 UT
- field of view: 831 - 950 arcsec W, 136 - 251 arcsec N
- slit: 0.3 arcsec x 120 arcsec, centered (number 7)
- raster step size: 0.75 arcsec (2 elementary steps)
- exposure time: 2.5 seconds
- telemetry: 159 images of 25 spectral x 120 spatial pixels
(format 14)
- compression: quasilog-min-max (method 5)
- wavelength: 1025.40 Å on reference pixel 150 of Detector A
- rotation compensation: 0.75 arcsec after 918.59 seconds
- binning: no spectral, no spatial
- on-board flat field correction: yes
Remarks: The commanded wavelength was only partially covered by the
spectral window. - A reference spectrum was performed afterwards, pointing the
slit to the middle of the field of view. - The active region can be identified
in a
Yohkoh
image taken 16 h earlier.
