Time Series of 60 Si IV spectra (wavelength 1393 Angstrom, temperature 100 000 K) with an exposure time of 10 s each, thus covering 10 minutes altogether. The spectral window is 25 pixels, allowing observations of redshifts (to the left) and blueshifts (to the right) up to approx. 100 km/s. The north-south extension of the slit covers approx. 84 000 km on the Sun.
The study was initiated by Davina Markiewicz-Innes (MPAe).
