Timo Reinhold

I started my physics diploma studies in Goettingen 2003, and finished my studies in theoretical physics in summer 2009. Looking for a PhD position, I started doing astrophysics in 2010 at the University of Goettingen, and finished my PhD in summer 2013. After that I continued as a postdoc at the University of Goettingen, and moved to the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research in 2016.

Research Interests

My research focuses on stellar rotation, differential rotation, and stellar activity. I mostly work with Kepler/K2 data, but also study ground-based long-term observations of stellar brightness variations.
