My field of research is the interior structure and dynamics of planets, including Earth.
- Convection in the silicate mantle of planets
- Generation of planetary magnetic fields by a dynamo process
- Flow in the giant gas planets
- Internal structure from geodetic and seismological observations
I use numerical simulations to study dynamical processes in the planets.
