First Announcement

We would like to announce a workshop on Solar Chromospheric and Coronal Magnetic Fields from Aug 30 - Sept 2, 2005 at the Max-Planck-Institut for Solar System Research, Katlenburg-Lindau, Germany.

The workshop will focus on our understanding of magnetic fields and structures above the photosphere of the Sun.

  • Measurements of chromospheric and coronal magnetic fields
  • Coupling to the photosphere
  • Generation and stability of magnetic structures
  • Chromospheric/coronal seismology
