Erstes EUROPLANET Treffen in Northeim MPS organisierte das erstes Treffen von europäischen Planetenwissenschaftlern im Rahmen des EU-finanzierten Projektes EUROPLANET in Northeim. 21. - 23. November 2005, Waldhotel Gesundbrunnen, Northeim Europlanet ist ein von der EU ausgewähltes Projekt zur Verstärkung der Planetenforschung in Europa. In diesem bis Ende 2009 geförderten Projekt sind über 60 Institute in 17 Ländern beteiligt. Eine der Schlüsselaktivitäten dieses Projektes wird durch das MPS koordiniert.
